Job summary

Bechtel invites applications for an Electrical & Instrumentation Field Engineer to support the Ar Rjum Project in Saudi Arabia. The role covers construction engineering within electrical and instrumentation, developing work plans, coordinating materials, and inspecting installations to ensure safety, quality, and clear turnover documentation.

The position requires strong planning, field verification, and the ability to communicate across disciplines in a complex project environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical and instrumentation engineering from an accredited university.
20 years of relevant experience in the MENA region or equivalent professional background.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with engineering on constructability and design issues relating to electrical/instrumentation installations.
Provide field engineering support and ensure materials, equipment, and quality meet design requirements.
Develop work plans, coordinate material take-offs, perform inspections, and document progress.
Direct or perform preparation of quantity listings of field material and initiate requisitions.
Support planning and delivery of construction materials and equipment and ensure environmental protection.
