Job summary
Allegis Group is seeking an experienced Launch manufacturing engineering Specialist - EV to support a major automotive client in Saudi Arabia, overseeing the launch of a brand-new EV powertrain manufacturing facility.
You will drive the complete lifecycle from equipment installation through ramp-up, with 5–10 years in high-volume automotive process engineering and hands-on floor ownership. English communication is required, and visa support is provided.
Qualifications
- MSc or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
- 5–10 years of process engineering in high-volume automotive production.
- Hands-on production floor experience with process ownership at rate.
- Experience with automotive quality methods: PFMEA, control plans, 8D, root cause analysis, APQP/PPAP.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Lead the complete lifecycle of a new production line from equipment installation to ramp-up.
- Oversee commissioning, process qualification, and run-at-rate testing.
- Implement Start of Production and ramp-up to full-scale manufacturing.
