Job summary

JAL International Co. Ltd. is seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer (Diesel Engine Specialist) to join its Mechanical Services Shops in Saudi Arabia.

The role focuses on overhaul, diagnostics, testing, and performance verification of industrial diesel engines used in oil and gas service. You will provide engineering support from initial assessment through load testing and final certification. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Marine, or Power Engineering, and

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Marine, or Power Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
Experience section: 15+ years in engine/rotating equipment with at least 8+ years in diesel overhaul, diagnostics, and performance testing.
Hands-on with OEM diagnostic software, borescope, vibration analysis, dynamometer testing, and RCA.

Responsibilities

Overhaul engineering: define inspection/repair scope, verify dimensions, and control overhaul of components.
Fuel, air & control systems: diagnose and set up fuel injection, turbocharging, cooling, governors, sensors, ECUs.
Assembly & quality control: approve procedures, data, lubrication, and inspection hold points; resolve deviations with OEM data.
Performance testing: plan and conduct no-load and load testing on dynamometer cell and test rigs.
Diagnostics & RCA: analyze faults and propose corrective actions for reliability improvements.
