in Al-Khobar seeks a Rotating Equipment Engineer (Steam Turbine Specialist) to plan, execute, and evaluate mechanical testing of overhauled turbines, integrating rotor assembly, steam-path, governor, lubrication, and vibration knowledge. You will lead test programs, review turbine charts, define test conditions, and ensure safe, compliant operation while coordinating with manufacturing and maintenance teams across Saudi Arabia.

Competenze

• 15+ years in rotating-equipment engineering
• 8+ years in industrial steam-turbine repair/diagnostics/testing
• Hands-on experience with rotor assembly, bearing clearances, shaft alignment, steam-path inspection, and controlled run testing

Mansioni

• Test Engineering: review turbine charts and repair scope, define test conditions and acceptance criteria
• Mechanical & Functional Testing: execute slow roll, run-test, overspeed, trip, governor, lubrication, vibration, temperature tests
• Performance Evaluation: assess speed, steam conditions, power, efficiency, heat rate, valve response, governor stability
• Diagnostics & RCA: analyze vibration, bearing temperature, steam-path loss, governor issues; propose corrective action
• Technical Documentation: prepare test procedures, instrument lists, reports and deviation records
