Overview
The Engineering Coordination Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for multidisciplinary engineering coordination and large‑scale infrastructure delivery within airfield programs in Riyadh. The manager drives integration across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning to ensure alignment with program objectives and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage engineering coordination strategies, governance frameworks, and reporting systems.
- Develop coordination plans aligned with program objectives and client requirements.
- Ensure integration of design, procurement, construction, and commissioning across all disciplines.
- Oversee preparation and review of design packages, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance of engineering deliverables with codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Implement quality assurance processes and monitor design milestones.
- Facilitate coordination between civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams.
- Identify conflicts, resolve technical issues, and ensure seamless design integration.
- Monitor engineering progress against schedules and implement corrective actions where required.
- Align engineering timelines with project controls and planning teams.
- Lead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies for engineering activities.
- Maintain issue registers and escalate critical risks to senior management.
- Prepare engineering reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for stakeholders.
- Act as the main interface between engineering teams, contractors, consultants, and clients.
- Drive adoption of digital tools, BIM workflows, and coordination platforms.
- Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Conduct coordination workshops, design reviews, and integration meetings.
- Ensure engineering data integrity and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred).
- Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 25 years of experience in engineering coordination for large‑scale infrastructure programs.
- At least 10 years in senior leadership roles managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong experience in airfield or major infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in design review, integration, and technical coordination.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
