Job summary

Front End Energy seeks a Business Development Director to drive growth in the Saudi Arabia and GCC markets. You will originate, shape, and close major opportunities with NOCs, government entities, and EPCs, while deepening partnerships with global technology partners.

You will lead strategic growth across eight capability areas, manage a robust pipeline, and own revenue, margins, and governance. Fluency in English is required, Arabic preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA or Master's preferred).
• 12–15+ years of business development, sales, or commercial leadership experience in the energy sector.
• Proven track record of originating and closing large-value contracts (USD 10M+) with NOCs, government entities, or major EPCs in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
• Established network within Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and the Kingdom's energy ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of KSA procurement processes, IKTVA/localization requirements, and Vision 2030 energy priorities.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and financial acumen, including P&L or order-intake ownership.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the business development strategy for the Energy division across eight capability areas.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities across upstream, midstream, downstream, and renewables.
• Identify market opportunities driven by Vision 2030 programs and localization requirements.
• Develop executive-level relationships with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, ministries, and other stakeholders.
• Lead capture planning, positioning, and pre-qualification for major tenders and frameworks.
• Represent Front End Energy at events and client engagements across KSA and the region.
• Strengthen alliances with international technology providers and assess new partnerships.
• Lead proposal development, pricing, negotiation, and contract closure for complex deals.
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure deliverable, profitable solutions.
• Own revenue, order intake, and margin targets; report to executive leadership.
• Monitor regulatory trends and governance; ensure anti-corruption and procurement standards.
