Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia seeks a Field Engineer - Electrical to supervise and monitor installation, testing, commissioning and handover of major electrical systems for a landmark development. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specs, codes and QA/QC standards while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years in electrical construction supervision, including large-scale projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
8+ years of experience in electrical engineering and construction supervision.
5+ years as Electrical Field Engineer, Site Engineer, or Electrical Inspector on major building projects.
Experience with large-scale buildings and mixed-use developments.
Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and Saudi regulations; building services infra.

Responsibilities

Supervise electrical construction activities per drawings, specs and contract needs.
Monitor installation of power, transformers, switchgear, lighting, ELV and grounding systems.
Review shop drawings, submittals, method statements and testing docs.
Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, ICT, security teams.
Witness inspections, testing, energization and commissioning activities.
Ensure QA/QC procedures and HSE requirements are implemented.
