Job summary

Atkins Realis Group in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Field Engineer - Electrical to supervise installation, testing, commissioning and handover of electrical systems for a major development project. You will ensure works comply with drawings, specs, contract requirements and codes, coordinating with Resident Engineer, contractors and multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years in electrical construction supervision, and fluent English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
8+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering and construction supervision.
5+ years of experience as an Electrical Field Engineer, Site Engineer, or Electrical Inspector on major building projects.
Proven experience in large-scale buildings, convention centers, hotels, resorts, mixed-use developments, commercial towers, airports, or hospitality projects.
Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Supervise and inspect electrical construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and contract requirements.
Monitor installation of electrical systems including power distribution, transformers, substations, switchgear, generators, UPS and lighting systems.
Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical documentation.
Verify that electrical materials and equipment meet approved submittals and project specs.
Coordinate electrical works with other disciplines to ensure proper integration.
Witness inspections, testing activities, energization procedures and commissioning operations.
Prepare daily site reports, progress updates and technical assessments.
Assist in progress measurement and verification of completed works for payment certification.
