Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Field Engineer - Mechanical to supervise mechanical construction activities for a major development project. The role ensures installations, testing and commissioning meet drawings, specs, codes and QA/QC standards while interfacing with MEP teams and contractors.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience, strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and LGP systems, and familiarity with international codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in mechanical engineering and construction supervision.
• 5+ years as Mechanical Field/ Site Engineer on major projects.
• Experience with large-scale buildings and hospitality projects.
• Familiarity with QA/QC, shop drawings reviews, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect mechanical construction works per drawings, specs and contract.
• Monitor HVAC, piping, drainage, firefighting and mechanical systems installations.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, method statements and technical submissions.
• Coordinate interfaces with architectural, structural, electrical and other systems.
• Witness tests, inspections, commissioning and handover activities.
