Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years drilling operations experience.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, health and environmental standards across all drilling sites.
• Supervise daily drilling operations, crew activities, and site workflows.
• Plan and coordinate drilling activities with approved programs.
• Monitor rig performance, penetration rates, and core recovery to meet targets.
• Coordinate with geologists regarding drill collar locations and depths.
• Maintain drilling equipment and conduct regular inspections.
• Lead toolbox talks, shift briefings and safety discussions.
• Review daily drilling reports and production data.
• Manage workforce allocation, shifts, and contractor performance.
• Investigate incidents and near misses to drive improvements.
• Ensure regulatory and environmental compliance on site.
• Monitor consumables usage and control costs.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting to crews.
• Mentor local workforce and junior staff.
