Job summary

Apex Operations Company in Riyadh seeks a Data Protection & Privacy Specialist to safeguard personal data and ensure compliance with PDPL. The role covers notices, data mappings, vendor reviews, and team training. Must have 3+ years in privacy or legal work and strong Arabic/English skills.

About ARK47 Studio

ARK47 Studio is a Saudi AI app, available on the App Store and Google Play, that builds business systems from a plain-language description: for example HR, bookings, an online store or a sales board. It drafts a plan with the business owner first, then builds the screens, data and access permissions. We are a Riyadh team bringing it to businesses in the Kingdom and beyond.

What you will do

• Review and update the privacy notices of the ARK47 Studio app and website so that they are accurate and meet the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
• Prepare and update the record of processing activities, and check where personal data is stored and processed.
• Handle requests from people about their personal data within the legal deadlines.
• Review new features before launch, and new suppliers before they are engaged, for data-protection risks.
• Train the team on data protection, and report every month.

What we need

• Minimum qualification: a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Based in Riyadh, or willing to relocate to Riyadh.
• 3+ years in data protection, privacy, compliance or legal work, ideally in technology.
• Working knowledge of the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law and SDAIA guidance.
• Arabic and English, spoken and written.

Pay and terms

• Total monthly salary SAR 14,000–20,000 (basic salary plus allowances), depending on experience.
• Full-time, on-site at our Riyadh office; working days, hours and annual leave per the Saudi Labour Law.
• Health insurance and GOSI registration as required by Saudi law.
