Job summary

Beside Group is seeking a Regional/Country Manager for Saudi Arabia to maximize profitability by driving sales, controlling costs, and leading a multi-store team. You will oversee 30+ stores, manage Area Managers, and ensure strong brand standards across the region.

The role requires extensive regional experience in fashion retail, P&L ownership, and proven leadership. A ME regional background is highly valued, with a focus on growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of fashion retail experience.
• At least 3 years at Regional or Country Manager level in KSA.
• Proven experience managing 30+ store locations.
• Minimum 3 years of full P&L responsibility for a region.
• Strong leadership, talent development, and succession planning.
• Experience with multiple brands and ME regional exposure is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure a country or Region operates at the optimum profitability through maximizing sales, controlling all costs and leading a team.

1. Store Operations & Revenue Generation

• Drive sales performance across the region/country to achieve budget and KPI targets.
• Foster a customer-first culture across all stores.
• Monitor market competition and ensure store and area managers remain focused on business objectives.
• Control and manage all cost lines to maximize profitability.
• Provide product performance feedback to the Buying & Merchandising team to support future buying decisions.
• Oversee inventory management and store audits to minimize losses and maintain company standards.
• Ensure all stores comply with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor competitor activities and provide insights to support commercial decision-making.
• Drive excellent customer experience and achieve market-leading NPS scores.
• Ensure compliance with all ministry and legal regulations to mitigate business risks.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure effective support and market presence across the region/country.

2. People & Culture, Training and Employee Development

• Lead, motivate, and inspire teams to build a strong and positive team culture.
• Manage team performance through effective use of PDPs (Personal Development Plans) and PIPs (Performance Improvement Plans).
• Identify, develop, and retain high-potential talent to support succession planning.
• Manage disciplinary and grievance matters in partnership with the People & Culture team.
• Work closely with Learning & Development to ensure appropriate training programs are delivered to store teams.
• Ensure full compliance with Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines across all stores.
• Build strong partnerships with the VM team and promote a collaborative "One Team" approach.
• Monitor best-selling products and ensure relevant insights are shared with VM teams to create commercially effective store layouts.

4. Business Reporting

• Communicate business performance updates regularly to leadership teams and store teams.
• Conduct weekly performance review meetings with Area Managers.
• Analyze business results and implement action plans to improve performance.

5. Store Openings & Maintenance

• Ensure new store openings and renovations are delivered on time through effective planning and stakeholder management.
• Ensure all store maintenance issues are reported and resolved promptly to maintain brand standards and store presentation.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of fashion retail experience, including at least 3 years at Regional or Country Manager level in KSA
• Proven experience managing 30+ store locations with Area Managers as direct reports.
• Minimum 3 years of full P&L responsibility for a region or country.
• Demonstrated experience in talent development, succession planning, and team growth.
• Experience managing multiple brands is highly advantageous.
• Regional/Middle East experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
