InterContinental Taif is looking for a Commis Chef to join the Employees Cafeteria. You will assist in daily meal preparation, maintain hygiene, and support the Chef in service while following HACCP standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school certificate, culinary training is a plus, and a flexible attitude to work shifts, weekends and holidays. The position offers a competitive salary and staff discounts within the InterContinental hotels network.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Commis Chef role is preferred.
• Basic food preparation and kitchen hygiene knowledge required.
• Familiarity with HACCP principles.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking daily meals according to menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper portion control.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Follow food safety standards and HACCP procedures.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of food items.
• Assist with stock control and minimize food waste.
• Support the Chef in daily kitchen operations and timely meal service.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety standards.
