InterContinental Hotels Group in Ta'if, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support daily meal preparation under the guidance of the Chef. You will assist in cooking and ensure consistency, quality, and portion control in a busy hotel kitchen.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, following HACCP standards, proper storage, and stock control while supporting timely meal service. The role offers growth within IHG Hotels & Resorts and experience in a premium hospitality

Qualifications

• High school certificate; culinary training is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a similar position preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing and cooking daily meals according to menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper portion control.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Follow food safety standards and HACCP procedures.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of food items.
• Assist with stock control and minimize food waste.
• Support the Chef in daily kitchen operations and timely meal service.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety standards.
