A luxury hotel chain in Jeddah is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the maintenance and engineering operations. The successful candidate will ensure the safety and comfort of guests, manage a team, and uphold service standards. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in building maintenance, specialized skills in plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work, and a commitment to sustainability. The first Regent hotel in the Middle East, Regent Jeddah will reside along the most prestigious waterfront location in the city with uninterrupted views of the Corniche, Jeddah’s Formula 1 racetrack, and the Red Sea. The 29-story hotel will bring unparalleled sophistication to the region with top-tier design, exceptional service, and extraordinary hospitality. The property will feature 182 rooms and five penthouses, each with stunning Red Sea views. What’s the job? As Director of Engineering, you’ll direct the engineering/maintenance of your hotel and ensure the safety and comfort of hotel guests and team members – making sure all activities are delivered safely and with compliance. Motivating and training your team with the skills to keep hotels always looking their best.
