Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Change Manager in Riyadh to lead governance of network and service changes within Managed Services. Qualifications

• BSc in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in telecommunications or related operational environment.
• Knowledge of GSM, WCDMA, LTE, 5G, IP, Core Network, and telecom architectures.
• Understanding of change management processes, CRs, CABs, and governance.
• Knowledge of change planning, risk assessment, impact analysis, validation, rollback.
• Understanding of service performance indicators, SLAs, incident management.
• Familiarity with CMDB, ITSM tools, and operational documentation.
• Basic knowledge of automation, continuous improvement, and CAPA.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, stakeholder management and collaboration.
• Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, results-driven with focus on risk mitigation.
• Commitment to ethics, compliance, and organizational values.
• Fluency in English.
• Telecom, ITIL, or change management certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, register, and track Change Requests (CRs) using change tools.
• Assess and prioritize changes by impact, complexity, risk, and criticality.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and dependencies across domains and teams.
• Ensure risk assessments, impact analyses, implementation plans, rollback procedures.
• Verify pre-checks, post-checks, test results, and approvals before closure.
• Coordinate planned activities with customers, delivery teams, Field Ops, and vendors.
• Organize and chair CAB meetings with informed decisions and risk communication.
• Monitor execution against schedules, procedures, and requirements.
• Review outcomes, validate service stability, and formally close CRs.
• Update CMDB after approved changes where applicable.
• Monitor KPIs: success rates, first-time-right, emergency changes, incidents.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce failures and improve governance.
• Maintain SOPs, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service continuity.
