The Card Development Delivery Manager plays a critical role in leading and overseeing the delivery of card technology solutions within the bank. This includes managing the end-to-end implementation of credit, debit, and prepaid card systems, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of card-related technology initiatives including new product launches, system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Act as the bridge between business, operations, and IT teams to ensure card solutions meet functional and technical requirements.
  • Manage relationships with card scheme partners (e.g., Visa, Mastercard), card processors, and third-party vendors.
  • Oversee integration of card systems with core banking, mobile banking, internet banking, fraud systems, and settlement engines.
  • Ensure project delivery complies with banking regulations, PCI-DSS, and card scheme rules.
  • Monitor and report on delivery timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies to senior management.
  • Implement best practices in project management and agile delivery within the cards domain.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including developers, QA, business analysts, and external partners.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT or digital banking, with a strong focus on card systems delivery.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale projects related to debit/credit card issuance and processing.
  • Strong understanding of card technologies including EMV, ISO 8583, tokenization, and card scheme certifications.
  • Experience with card management systems (e.g., Cortex).
  • Knowledge of banking architecture and integration points with card platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
Preferred Certifications
  • PMP certification is considered an asset.
