Job summary

Hempel is seeking a proactive Business Development professional to lead the Infrastructure segment in Saudi Arabia from Dammam. The role focuses on expanding growth opportunities across accounts, projects, and value chains while strengthening Hempel’s market position.

You will engage project owners, developers, and EPCs to influence specifications and approvals. Based in Dammam, the candidate will travel across the Kingdom and collaborate with regional sales teams to achieve KPIs and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.
• Experience in infrastructure, construction, industrial sectors.

Job description

What will your responsibilities include?

• Develop and execute the Infrastructure business development strategy in line with Hempel’s Energy & Infrastructure objectives
• Identify and develop growth opportunities across targeted accounts, projects, and value chains
• Strengthen Hempel’s specification position and market presence within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project owners, developers, consultants, EPCs, and contractors
• Engage projects early in the decision-making process to drive specifications, approvals, and project opportunities
• Develop strategic and non-buying accounts into sustainable long-term business opportunities
• Collaborate closely with regional sales teams and key internal stakeholders to support business growth objectives
• Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and upcoming projects to identify opportunities for business expansion
• Deliver against agreed business development and commercial KPIs.

The position will be based in Dammam (Saudi Arabia) and will report to the Head of Business Development Infrastructure, EMEA.

Furthermore, we expect that you have

• Experience in business development, project sales, key account management, or commercial roles
• Experience within infrastructure, construction, industrial, or engineering sectors
• Experience engaging consultants, contractors, EPCs, developers and project owners
• Understanding of specification selling and project-based sales environments
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a large territory
• The role requires regular travel across the Kingdom
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Technical Sales, or a related field is preferred
