SHEIN in Riyadh is seeking a commercially minded Merchant Development professional to build and manage non-beauty brand partnerships in Saudi Arabia.

You will lead identification of merchants, negotiate terms, and coordinate with operations to implement agreements.

The role emphasizes monitoring performance metrics like merchant count and GMV and reporting market insights to inform strategy.

Responsibilities

• Identify non-beauty brand merchants in Saudi Arabia and build cooperative relationships.
• Manage end-to-end cooperation including proposal, negotiation, and contract signing.
• Monitor performance metrics (merchants, GMV) and optimize strategy.
• Analyze market trends and provide reports to support strategy.

Job Responsibilities

• Merchant Resource Development & Maintenance: Proactively identify non-beauty brand owners and brand distributors in Saudi Arabia, build long-term cooperative relationships, and expand the regional cooperative merchant database.
• End-to-End Business Cooperation Execution: Independently manage requirement communication, proposal development, negotiation, contract signing, and coordinate with the operation teams to ensure the implementation of cooperation terms and achieve cooperation goals.
• Performance Achievement & Optimization: Undertake performance indicators such as the number of cooperative merchants and GMV, track data, analyze bottlenecks, and drive strategy optimization to meet targets.
• Market Information Feedback: Monitor local non-beauty consumption trends, competitor strategies, and policy changes, produce analysis reports to support the company’s strategy adjustment.

Job Requirements

• Resources & Experience:
  • Possess local non-beauty brand merchant resources in Saudi Arabia; candidates with established cooperative channels are preferred.
  • Candidates with non-beauty category BD / operation experience on platforms like Amazon, or Noon will be given priority for hiring.
• Language Proficiency:
  • Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing), capable of independent communication in English as the working language.
  • Proficiency in Arabic is a key plus.
• Competencies:
  • Strong business negotiation and resource integration skills, able to work under performance pressure.
  • Sharp insight into Middle East non-beauty market trends and consumer needs.
