Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Riyadh seeks a Banquet/Sales Coordinator to deliver exceptional service and support successful events. You will coordinate bookings from enquiry to completion and assist the Sales team with proposals and contracts.

Role requires strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills, plus English proficiency. You’ll help maintain event details, work with multiple departments, and promote the hotel’s banquet facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in Sales, Banquets, Events, or similar role, preferably in a hotel.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating banquet and event bookings from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Assisting the Sales team with proposals, contracts, and client correspondence.
• Maintaining accurate event details, schedules, and function sheets.
• Coordinating with Banquet, Kitchen, and other departments to ensure smooth event operations.
• Communicating with clients to understand requirements and follow up on requests.
• Assisting with site inspections and promoting the hotel’s meeting and banquet facilities.
