Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Banquet/Sales Coordinator to deliver exceptional service and assist in creating memorable events. You will coordinate bookings from enquiry to completion, support the Sales team with proposals and contracts, and ensure accurate event details and smooth operations across departments.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Hospitality or Business Administration and 1+ years in Sales/Banquets/Events, preferably in a hotel, with strong English communication and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in Sales, Banquets, Events, or similar role, preferably in a hotel.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate banquet and event bookings from enquiry through to completion.
• Assist Sales team with proposals, contracts, and client correspondence.
• Maintain accurate event details, schedules, and function sheets.
• Coordinate with Banquet, Kitchen, and other departments to ensure smooth event operations.
• Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and follow up on requests.
• Assist with site inspections and promote the hotel’s meeting and banquet facilities.
