Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Banquet/Sales Coordinator to coordinate bookings from inquiry to completion and support the Sales team with proposals and contracts. You will maintain event details, schedules, and function sheets while coordinating with Banquet, Kitchen, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, with a focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in Sales, Banquets, Events or similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hospitality, Business Administration or related field.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate banquet and event bookings from enquiry through completion.
• Assist Sales with proposals, contracts, and client correspondence.
• Maintain accurate event details, schedules, and function sheets.
• Coordinate with Banquet, Kitchen and other departments for smooth operations.
• Communicate with clients to understand requirements and follow up on requests.
• Assist with site inspections and promote hotel meeting and banquet facilities.
