Location: Doha, Qatar
Job Purpose: We seek a creative, self-motivated, and talented Geotechnical Engineer to join our geotechnical team in Doha. The ideal candidate will have a proven career in geotechnical engineering within civil and environmental consulting. CH2M HILL offers challenging projects and opportunities to contribute to major infrastructure developments supporting Qatar's 2030 vision.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Perform design and fieldwork assignments with some independence under supervision.
- Conduct geotechnical computations using appropriate software.
- Prepare and supervise technical reports and drawings.
- Procure and oversee geotechnical field work.
- Travel may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geology; Master's in Geotechnical Engineering/Engineering Geology preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in design, site roles, geotechnical investigation, and design.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, and standard office software.
- Knowledge of geotechnical design software, including AGS databases.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
- Middle East experience is preferred but not essential.
