This role involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting or Finance, possesses strong analytical skills, and has proficiency in accounting software. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Relevant accounting or finance experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting / ERP software.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting activities including AP / AR and bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow reports.
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and expense controls.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT/tax regulations.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and improve financial processes.
  • Collaborate with management for strategic financial planning.

Accounts Manager Job Description (Brief)

We are hiring an experienced Accounts Manager to manage the company's financial operations and ensure accurate accounting records. The role involves overseeing AP / AR, general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting and compliance with internal controls.

Candidates with retail experience will be given added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily accounting activities including AP / AR, bank reconciliation and general ledger management.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, P&L, balance sheets and cash flow reports.
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts and expense controls.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT / tax regulations and coordinate with auditors.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and improve financial processes.
  • Collaborate with management for strategic financial planning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Relevant accounting or finance experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting / ERP software / any erp.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Retail experience is an added advantage.
