- Develop and maintain robust, reliable applications for optimal data flow, including APIs, streaming applications, and the industrialization of machine learning models.
- Optimize cloud architecture and infrastructure, focusing on storage, security, and automation within an AWS environment.
- Support internal teams in effectively utilizing the data platform, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Proactively contribute to technological research, innovation, and knowledge-sharing within the team.
- Ensure system availability, performance, and evolution while maintaining strict compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
- Collaborate with technical product teams and manage integration with external components.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of Java and Python in Unix-based environments.
- Proficiency with distributed systems architecture and cloud platforms, particularly AWS (S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, DynamoDB).
- Experience with tools such as Airflow, Spark, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of data pipelines.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in team settings.
