AgileEngine in Braga, Portugal, seeks a ServiceNow Discovery SME to lead as the platform authority for a large-scale Discovery environment. You will assess system health across MID Servers, discovery schedules, and runbooks, leveraging Linux/Windows and networking expertise.

You will translate operational knowledge into structured workflows, collect metrics, and drive improvements with the engineering team in a 100% remote-friendly setting.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of software engineering with hands-on ServiceNow Discovery, including MID Servers and discovery components.
• Experience in CMDB/CSDM, CIs, relationships, and data quality in ServiceNow.
• Strong infrastructure knowledge in Linux/Windows, networking, and basic scripting.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously assess the health of the ServiceNow Discovery ecosystem, including MID Servers, discovery schedules, target execution, throughput, latency, failures, retries, and coverage.
• Convert operational knowledge and runbooks into structured workflows to reduce manual investigation.
• Regularly collect, interpret metrics from Discovery and monitoring platforms to drive improvements.
• Investigate complex infrastructure attributes to ensure data quality and successful discovery.
