AgileEngine is seeking a ServiceNow Discovery SME to lead a large-scale Discovery environment, owning health of MID Servers, schedules, and patterns, with deep infra knowledge across Linux, Windows, and networking.

You will translate runbooks into structured workflows, collect metrics, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve data quality and automate troubleshooting in a global, remote-friendly setting.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on with ServiceNow Discovery and MID Servers, Probes, credentials, schedules, ECC Queue.
• Experience CMDB/CSDM, CI identification and data quality.
• Infrastructure engineering knowledge: Linux, Windows, virtualization.
• Networking and troubleshooting: TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, WMI/WinRM, SNMP, HTTP/S.
• Observability tools: Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously assess the health of the ServiceNow Discovery ecosystem including MID Servers, discovery schedules, targets, throughput, latency, failures, retries, and coverage.
• Translate runbooks and procedures into structured workflows to empower the engineering team and reduce manual investigation.
• Collect, aggregate, and interpret metrics/logs from ServiceNow Discovery and monitoring to drive actionable improvements.
• Investigate complex infrastructure attributes to ensure data quality and successful discovery execution.
