Cross Border Talents in Portugal is seeking a French-speaking support engineer to handle escalated tickets, diagnose SQL/API issues, and work with Postman, Slack, and the support team to reach root causes.

The role offers remote work with one on-site day per quarter in Porto/Vila Nova de Gaia, paid English-language training, health insurance, and a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential for permanence.

Qualifications

• Fluent French is essential for this role.
• English B2 required (training in English).
• Working knowledge of MySQL/SQL, Postman, Slack and MS Office.
• Strong troubleshooting and ticket-handling skills.
• Clear written and spoken communication, customer focus, willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Take over escalated tickets, chats and video calls that L2 couldn't close.
• Dig into application errors: reproduce, analyse, diagnose.
• Check customer data directly in the database (MySQL) to catch errors at the source.
• Work with Postman, Slack and the support team to get to the root cause.
• Propose improvements to management based on the incidents you see.
• Join the company's ongoing training and development programmes.
