Job summary

Glovo in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking an Intern Sales Development Representative to build our sales pipeline and support Sales Executives. You will identify, qualify and nurture leads, with a focus on 50-70 daily contacts via calls, emails, and WhatsApp.

Ideal candidates are native Portuguese speakers with strong English, CRM experience, and a drive for meeting quotas in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Native-level Portuguese and advanced English.
• Strong motivation for commercial and sales roles.
• Experience as SDR or similar role is preferred.
• Hands-on with multiple sales techniques including cold calls.
• Track record of achieving sales quotas (daily calls).
• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
• Familiarity with MS Excel for analysis.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through strategic outreach to potential clients.
• Qualify leads from scrapping pipelines as sales opportunities.
• Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails and WhatsApp Business (50-70 contacts per day).
• Present Glovo offerings, identify client needs and propose suitable products/services.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and seek new business opportunities.
• Set up meetings/calls between clients and Sales Executives.
• Report to the Senior Outbound Sales Executive on results.
• Stay up-to-date with products, pricing and plans.
