Job summary

smart-recruitments is hiring an Italian-speaking Customer Support Specialist to join a multilingual team supporting a leading telecom company. This is a fully remote role within mainland Portugal, offering stability and opportunities to work in an international environment.

As the first point of contact, you will assist customers with account, billing, service and technical enquiries via phone, email and chat, with rotating 8-hour shifts between 07:00 and 18:00 and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Fluent Italian and English language skills.
• Experience in customer support or contact centres is an advantage.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for Italian-speaking customers via phone, email and chat.
• Assist with account, billing and service-related inquiries.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide accurate information on products and features.
• Escalate complex cases when needed and contribute to service improvements.
• Gather customer feedback to support ongoing enhancements.
