Cross Border Talents in Porto is seeking a Customer Specialist for a banking project. You will assist customers with a range of banking questions across phone, email, chat, and digital channels, delivering accurate information and proactive service.

The role requires German (C1/C2) and English (B2), EU citizenship or Portuguese residency, and at least 1 year in customer support. A professional, detail-oriented approach and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Fluent in German (C1/C2) and English (B2).
• EU citizenship or valid Portuguese residency.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Customer Support.
• Strong analytical, creative, and communication abilities.
• Professional, detail-oriented, proactive and eager to learn in CS.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient customer support through phone, email, chat, and other channels.
• Assist customers with inquiries related to bank accounts, cards, transactions, payments, and digital banking platforms.
• Guide customers through banking procedures and explain services, processes and account information.
• Provide accurate information while adhering to internal policies, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions in a timely and effective manner.
• Handle customer concerns, complaints, and transaction-related questions professionally, escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Support customers with online banking, account access, card usage, and other banking services.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, requests, and resolutions in internal systems.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to investigate and resolve customer issues efficiently.
• Protect confidential information and follow data protection and verification procedures.
• Maintain high service quality, accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing training on banking products, digital services, procedures and compliance.
