Cross Border Talents in Porto is seeking a Customer Specialist for a Banking Project. You will assist customers in German and English via phone, email, chat, and other digital channels, guiding them through accounts, transactions, online banking, and general services.

The role emphasizes accuracy, data protection, and compliance, with ongoing training and a hybrid work setup. EU citizenship or Portuguese residency is required; 1 year in customer support is preferred.

Qualifications

• German language proficiency at advanced level (C1/C2)
• English proficiency at intermediate-advanced level (B2)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer support
• Strong analytical, creative, and communication abilities
• Professional, detail-oriented, proactive and eager to learn in CS

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient customer support through phone, email, chat, and other channels.
• Assist customers with inquiries related to bank accounts, card services, transactions, payments, and digital banking platforms.
• Guide customers through banking procedures and explain relevant services, processes, and account-related information.
• Provide accurate information while adhering to internal policies, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions in a timely and effective manner.
• Handle customer concerns, complaints, and transaction-related questions professionally, escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Support customers experiencing difficulties with online banking, account access, card usage, and other banking services.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, requests, and resolutions in internal systems.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to investigate and resolve customer issues efficiently.
• Protect confidential customer information and follow established data protection and verification procedures.
• Maintain high standards of service quality, accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about banking products, digital services, operational procedures, and compliance requirements.
