Claranet Portugal is seeking a Field Technician to join our internal team in Madeira. You will provide onsite and remote support as needed, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software incidents for end users across the region.

You will work with Windows Client operating systems, Microsoft 365, and local networks, ensuring stable IT services. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Madeira are required.

• Solid understanding of local area networks (LAN) and connectivity.
• Experience using ticketing systems.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Madeira region.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first and second-line onsite technical support to end users.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents related to computer hardware and software.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Support the management of local IT infrastructure and travel as required within Madeira.
• Log, track, and update incidents and service requests using a ticketing system.
• Liaise with internal and external technical teams when required.

Your responsibilities include:

• Provide first and second-line onsite technical support to end users;
• Diagnose and resolve incidents related to:
• Computer equipment and peripherals;
• Windows operating systems;
• Microsoft 365;
• Local networks and connectivity;
• Meeting rooms and collaboration equipment;
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software;
• Support the management of the local IT infrastructure;
• Log, track, and update incidents and service requests using a ticketing system;
• Ensure requests are monitored through to resolution;
• Liaise with internal and/or external technical teams when required;
• Travel across the Madeira region to provide onsite support.

You must have:

• Proven professional experience providing onsite technical support within a corporate environment;
• Strong knowledge of Windows Client operating systems and Microsoft 365;
• Solid understanding of local area networks (LAN);
• Experience using ticketing systems;
• Valid driver's licence and availability to travel within the region;
• Residence in the Madeira region.
