Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking a Dutch- and English-speaking Customer Support Agent to join our remote team in Portugal. In this role you will assist customers on an online payments platform, handle account inquiries, and help resolve payment and transaction issues from a global client base.

You will communicate clearly via phone and written channels, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with different teams to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or call centre is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries through phone and written channels.
• Assist customers with payment transactions and account funding.
• Explain account information, payment processes, and product features.
• Investigate and resolve payment-related inquiries.
• Discuss payment arrangements with customers when needed.
• Update customer records and document interactions accurately.
• Identify customers requiring additional support and direct them to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain professional communication and high service quality standards.
