Job summary

Cross Border Talents in Portugal is seeking Dutch- and English-speaking Customer Support Agents for a fully remote role based in Portugal. You will assist customers on an online payment platform, handle account inquiries, and help resolve payment and transaction issues while communicating clearly in a fast-paced, international environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and independence.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality or call centres preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer-based applications.
• Independent and able to adapt to new systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries through phone and written communication channels.
• Assist customers with payment transactions and account funding.
• Explain account information, payment processes, and product features.
• Investigate and resolve payment-related inquiries.
• Discuss payment arrangements with customers when needed.
• Update customer records and document interactions accurately.
• Identify customers requiring additional support and direct them to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain professional communication and high service quality standards.
