CallForTalents, a multinational fintech, seeks a Customer Service professional for a fully remote role supporting Dutch and English-speaking customers of an online payments system. The position is based in Lisbon, Portugal, with relocation and accommodation support if needed.

Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, weekends off. Compensation includes a monthly gross salary, a welcome bonus paid monthly during the first year, a net meal allowance for each working day, and a complexity

Join a multinational financial technology company as a Customer Service professional. In this remote role, you will support customers of an online payments system, handling a variety of inquiries and collection efforts in Dutch and English.

Key points

• Location: Based in Lisbon, Portugal, a vibrant capital known for its rich history, culture and scenic coastal views
• Work model: Fully remote. Preference is given to candidates already residing in Portugal, though relocation and accommodation support can be provided if necessary

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, with weekends off
• Compensation: Monthly gross salary, plus a welcome bonus paid in monthly instalments during the first year, a net meal allowance for each working day, and a complexity bonus

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls for customer support and collection efforts, by voice and written channels
• Negotiate payments and secure commitments to pay on later dates
• Assist customers with account funding and advise them on managing funding transactions
• Research and resolve collections-related inquiries by phone
• Educate customers on account history and product details, and explain the protection policy for relevant products
• Support and tag vulnerable customers appropriately, and provide insolvency support
• Take appropriate action on customer accounts and arrange call-backs at convenient times
• Transfer customers to other teams when necessary
• Record call outcomes in company systems for other teams to reference

Requirements

• Fluent Dutch and English
• Good negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC-based internet and software applications
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software technologies
• Strong multitasking, including working across several telephone queues and product lines
• Effective priority management and the ability to work independently
• Results-oriented mindset, with high levels of discretion, teamwork and commitment

Preferred

• 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced, team-based retail, hospitality or customer service call center environment
• Experience in an internet company, financial services or transaction processing
