Job summary

VML in Portugal, Porto, is seeking a Business Analyst with ecommerce experience to join our Delivery team on a contract basis. You will document business needs, translate them into user stories, and collaborate with clients and the delivery team to ensure solutions meet expectations.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment, facilitate workshops, and help shape the go-live of commerce projects. Strong stakeholder management and Agile delivery experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Business Analyst on ecommerce / experience projects.
• Experience of managing client stakeholders and Product Owners / Managers.
• Able to run workshops with client stakeholders.
• Experience working on Content projects.
• Experience working on Experience projects.
• Proactive, detail-oriented team player with drive to improve.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements and translate into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Identify and recommend options for potential solutions and assess them for technical and business suitability.
• Create logical and innovative solutions to problems.
• Present proposals to clients.
• Work with a scrum / delivery team through to go live.
• Analyse business systems to recommend efficiencies.
• Provide estimates for analysis work and plans with PMs.
• Communicate with developers, testers and end users to ensure quality.
• Provide training to users of a new system.
• Plan and work flexibly to meet deadlines.
• Keep up to date with technical and industry sector advances.
• Maintain great client relationships at all levels of the organisation.
• Escalate business critical situations when required.
