Job summary

Sublime Comporta is seeking a Barista to join our elite team in the heart of our luxury hotel group. You will prepare and serve coffee and beverages to a high standard, ensure precise extraction, and maintain equipment, presentation, and cleanliness.

Fluency in Portuguese and English, prior barista experience, and a passion for service are essential. You will work collaboratively, deliver personalized experiences, and participate in ongoing training and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Barista in hospitality or luxury hotel environments.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Strong technical knowledge in coffee preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and other hot and cold beverages to a high standard, in accordance with technical specifications.
• Ensure proper coffee extraction, grinding consistency, and maintenance of equipment.
• Guarantee careful and consistent product presentation.
• Provide personalized, attentive, and professional service.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and stock replenishment of the workspace.
• Strictly comply with hygiene and food safety regulations (HACCP).
• Collaborate with the team, promoting a positive work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Barista, preferably in hospitality or luxury hotel environments;
• Strong technical knowledge in coffee preparation;
• Fluency in Portuguese and English;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong customer-service orientation and commitment to service excellence;
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple orders, and adapt to dynamic environments;
• Team spirit, autonomy, and strong organizational skills;
• Attention to detail in beverage preparation and presentation;
• Proactive attitude, resilience, and a continuous desire to learn and grow within the coffee field.
