Job summary

The Bar Manager role at Experimental Cocktail Club Porto is based in Porto within Hotel Experimental Porto Infante Sagres. You will lead the bar and restaurant bar, ensuring premium service, product quality and financial performance.

You will manage the bar team, daily operations, stock control, and events, while delivering a personalized guest experience and promoting the bar concept across the venue. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required; French or another language is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bar management at a high-end venue.
• Strong leadership, organizational and team development skills.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines and trends.
• Understanding of bar operations, stock management and cost control.
• Commercial mindset, proactive and hands-on with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the daily operation of the bar.
• Lead, supervise and monitor the bar team performance.
• Organize team schedules, shifts and holidays.
• Coordinate with F&B and Restaurant teams for scheduling.
• Ensure exceptional guest experience throughout bar service.
• Prepare and serve cocktails per recipes and quality standards.
• Manage stock levels and purchasing procedures.
• Lead by example with hospitality excellence.
