Fyld in Porto, Portugal is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to keep business-critical applications reliable, available and performing at a high level. You'll troubleshoot incidents, analyze root causes and collaborate with development teams to prevent recurrence.

The role requires strong SQL, REST API experience, ITSM familiarity (incident, problem, change), and comfort with Linux/Windows, Git, and monitoring tools.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Application Support or similar roles.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications in production environments.
• Strong incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience analysing application logs and system behaviour.
• Experience with REST APIs and integrations.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes including incident, problem and change management.
• Experience with ticketing/tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Ability to investigate issues across application, database and infrastructure layers.
• Experience with application monitoring and alerting tools.
• Understanding of software releases and production deployments.
• Experience collaborating with development teams to resolve defects.
• Ability to document incidents, solutions, known errors and procedures.
• Good understanding of Linux and/or Windows environments.
• Knowledge of Git and version control practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage incidents per priorities and SLAs.
• Ability to work in Agile and/or ITIL environments.
• Fluency in English.
