Axians in Portugal is seeking an experienced Application Support professional to join a Production Support team responsible for stability, availability, and performance of critical business applications. You will monitor applications and manage incidents following ITIL, deploy changes, and collaborate with DevOps and Scrum teams to improve reliability and user experience.

Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.

Qualificações

• Expertise with Java Application Servers (Red Hat JBoss EAP) and Java performance troubleshooting (heap/thread dumps).
• Hands-on OpenShift, Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of API gateway technologies such as Axway or Apigee.
• Solid Linux administration experience (RHEL).
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, ELK).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Nexus).
• Experience with IaC tools (Ansible and/or Terraform).
• Strong relational database knowledge (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices.
• Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and maintain business-critical applications for high availability and performance.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management following ITIL and SLAs.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with Dev, Infra, and external teams to implement sustainable solutions.
• Execute deployments, upgrades, patches, and change requests using DevOps tools.
• Implement and optimize monitoring and observability practices to detect issues early.
• Maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams to improve reliability and user experience.
• Participate in on-call activities for critical services.
