PrimeIT is seeking a Mid-level Application Production Support professional in Lisbon/Porto. The role focuses on fixing issues, implementing monitoring, and managing releases to ensure smooth operations and improved user experience.

Applicants should have 3–6 years of experience, strong Linux and SQL skills, and hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Ansible, and monitoring tools. The position offers a base salary range with benefits and hybrid work options.

Qualificações

• Experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting (RHEL 7/8, SLES, Ubuntu).
• Proficient in SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or MS-SQL) and writing/optimising queries.
• Scripting in Bash/Python (or PowerShell on Windows) for log parsing and health checks.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Ansible, CI/CD pipelines).
• Knowledge of Terraform/ Helm for infrastructure provisioning is a plus.
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (basic pod debugging, log aggregation).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, release).
• Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, JIRA Service Management).

Responsabilidades

• Responds to users and fixes issues within an application.
• Implements monitoring and supervises the app’s components.
• Orchestrates and manages releases within scope.
• Manages requests for functional/technical upgrades.
• Performs technical integration to reduce implementation times.
• Creates and enriches the application documentation baseline.
• Ensures processes compliance and remediation where needed.
• Analyzes and improves performance of technical components for user experience.
