Axians Portugal is seeking an Application Support Engineer to ensure stability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical business applications. You will provide technical and functional support, manage incidents and changes, monitor health, and collaborate with users, development, operations, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality service.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Application/Production Support or similar roles.
• Experience providing technical and functional support for business-critical applications.
• Experience in application monitoring, incident management, and service improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of production environments and infrastructure requirements.
• Professional English proficiency; French a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical and functional support to users, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Monitor and supervise application environments to guarantee service availability and performance.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests.
• Coordinate with development, production, operations, and other support teams as needed.
• Manage and orchestrate application releases within your scope of responsibility.
• Perform proactive analysis to identify risks and improve service quality.
• Ensure smooth execution of application workflows, batch processes, and data transfers.
• Create and maintain operating procedures and technical documentation.
