Job summary
A financial services organization is hiring for an Engineering role in Katowice, Poland. Candidates should have strong Java or Kotlin experience, familiarity with Spring Boot, and an understanding of agile methodologies. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services for the Gaia web application.
- Design APIs and microservices using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with frontend developers for integration.

- You have strong experience in Java and/or Kotlin.
- You’re familiar with Spring Boot and object-oriented design.
- You understand relational databases (MS-SQL is a plus).
- You have experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- You’re comfortable working in agile teams and DevOps environments.
- You have basic knowledge of frontend technologies like React or WebComponents.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native deployments.
- Familiarity with frontend testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Vitest).
- Understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Exposure to frontend frameworks and willingness to collaborate on UI integration.
- Experience with containerization and DTAP environments.
- Develop and maintain backend services for the Gaia web application.
- Design APIs and microservices using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and DevOps practices.
- Contribute to service design, strategy, and availability.
