We are seeking an exceptional Legal Secretary for one of our Commercial/Property teams based in Tauranga.
About the Role:
This role is a critical part of this busy team, and we are seeking someone with previous legal secretary experience. You will directly support one Partner, as well as provide assistance to Solicitors, Legal Executives and the wider team as and when required.
You will be accountable for:
Supporting a wide range of administrative tasks across the team including assisting and/or preparation of legal documentation, onboarding clients and completing customer due diligence, billing, client maintenance and file management;
Organising appointments, communicating with clients where appropriate and ensuring they have an incredible customer experience;
Working with the other members of the team to reduce the administrative load wherever possible;
Handling trust fund payments and receipts;
Juggling a number of priorities on any given day.
What we are looking for:
For you to succeed in this role you will need:
Proven experience as a Legal Secretary/PA within a busy law firm (Property experience preferred);
A positive and hardworking attitude;
To be a team player who will build loyalty and relationships within the team;
Incredible administrative skills and strong competency in technology and internal systems;
Great attention to detail; and
Great communication skills to work with internal and external people.
