A secondary education institution in Waikato is seeking a full-time Teacher of DVC to start in Term 1, 2026. The ideal candidate will deliver DVC content from Year 9 to Year 13 and possess CAD skills. This role offers a chance for experienced teachers to take on further responsibilities. The salary range is between $61,329 and $103,086, based on qualifications and experience.
Teacher of DVC and another technology specialisation. This is a permanent, full-time teaching position at Cambridge High School (CHS) in Waikato, commencing Term 1, 2026.
Cambridge High School is a co-educational secondary school established in 1883, with approximately 1,800 students. The technology faculty is forward-thinking, well-resourced and supportive. CHS serves the varied academic, trades, cultural and sporting needs of the community.
Deliver DVC content from Year 9 through to Year 13. Essential: ability to teach CAD (computer aided drawing) skills. Ideally, able to teach another technology specialisation. There may be an opportunity for responsibility in the DVC area for experienced teachers.
The terms and conditions are set by the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement. Base salary for trained and registered teachers ranges from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on qualifications and experience. Actual base salary will be confirmed after a salary assessment once the role is confirmed.
