Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified Registered Nurse to join Elysium Healthcare as a Preceptee Nurse. You will receive 12 months of expert support, training, and supervision to help you apply your academic knowledge in real-life situations and grow into a confident, autonomous professional. You will be working at Wellesley Hospital, a purpose-built 101-bed hospital in Wellington, Somerset, for men and women with mental health needs, where you will help people with mental health conditions through their recovery pathway.

As a Preceptee Nurse, you will work 40.25 hours per week (12-hour shifts) at Wellesley Hospital, helping people with mental health conditions through their recovery pathway to lead as fulfilling and independent a life as possible. You will be developed to grow into a confident, autonomous professional with refined skills, values, and behaviours, and will have plenty of development opportunities to continually develop yourself throughout your career with Elysium.

You will be working at Wellesley Hospital, a purpose-built 101-bed hospital in Wellington (Somerset) for men and women with mental health needs.

There are 6 wards for people with mental health needs and 1 ward for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

The Wellesley Hospital, built in 2017, works alongside Devon Partnership NHS Trust, Avon and Wiltshire Foundation Trust, Cornwall Foundation Trust, 2gether Foundation Trust, and Livewell to deliver the best possible environment for patients with mental health issues.
