Job summary
A technology solutions provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to design and develop backend services and APIs. You will collaborate with product managers and frontend developers, address performance issues, and mentor junior developers. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Attractive remuneration and benefits package offered.

- Design and develop backend services, APIs, and database structures to support our applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and security vulnerabilities.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices in software development.
- Continuously improve our development processes and tools to enhance team productivity and code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted service.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for backend development (e.g., Python, C# .NET MVC, GoLang, Node.js, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of web frameworks and server technologies.
- Experience with database design and management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud services and deployment platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
RM 6,000 - RM 12,000
- Annual leave 14 days
- Birthday leave 1 day in birthday month
- Outpatient claim RM550 per annum
- Inpatient claim RM25,000 per annum
- Dental / Optical RM300 per annum
- Parking claim based on receipt RM14 per day
- Annual increment / KPI performance review
