Job summary
A leading construction and project management firm in Johor Bahru is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects, manage budgets, and lead teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering and extensive experience in project management, preferably with high-rise building experiences. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in project management and construction management, typically 5-10 years or above.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Developing project plans, setting goals, and overseeing all aspects of construction and development.
- Managing project budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Overseeing contracts with vendors and contractors, managing relationships, ensuring compliance.
- Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure projects meet established standards.
- Identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and managing risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Leading and motivating project teams, fostering collaboration, providing guidance and support.
- Communicating project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders, including clients and management.
- Overseeing all construction activities, coordinating on-site work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
