A leading medical device company in Malaysia is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead the strategic and operational execution of supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in supply chain roles, including significant leadership exposure, and will be responsible for overseeing logistics, planning, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in supply chain roles within regulated manufacturing environments; 7+ years in leadership.
  • Expertise in forecasting, planning, inventory management (S&OP), and manufacturing scheduling.
  • Experience managing 3PLs, logistics providers, and contract performance.
  • Strong understanding of import/export regulations and compliance.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.

As a member of the Dexcom Malaysia Senior Management Team, the Director of Supply Chain leads the strategic and operational execution of supply chain functions including planning, warehousing, logistics, shipping & receiving, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP). This role interfaces cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, and Finance, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence across geographies.

Where you come in:
  • You will develop and execute the regional supply chain strategy aligned with global and commercial leadership.
  • You will lead site supply chain operations including warehousing, sterilization planning, logistics, and import/export.
  • You will drive Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and collaborate with global teams to ensure forecast accuracy and robust supply plans.
  • You will manage third-party logistics, distribution providers, and sterilizers, ensuring performance and contract compliance.
  • You will establish and monitor KPIs, scorecards, escalation protocols, and review cadences to drive transparency and accountability.
  • You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO13485) across all supply chain activities and partners.
  • You will collaborate on IT/OT systems to support global efficiency and process consistency.
  • You will foster a high-performance team culture focused on accountability, development, and continuous improvement.
